Thanks to the generosity of our individual and corporate donors, Boxwood is pleased to continue the Fred Kasper Memorial Scholarship program and offer tuition-free positions for this summer's festival & workshop in Nova Scotia.
The 2012 Fred Kasper Memorial Scholarship is open to all applicants who will be under 30 years of age as of July 1, 2012. Scholarships are open to players of all instruments, singers and dancers. We typically grant one scholarship to a young artist who is in primary or secondary school (age 18 or under), and second scholarship to a young adult (age 19-29).
Interested applicants should submit the following:
- a short written description of your musical and extra-musical interests and experience, including your thoughts on what you can bring to Boxwood and how Boxwood will benefit you and your artistic pursuits. Word documents or plain text.
- a short recorded sample of your playing, singing or video of your dancing. Standard audio & video files only.
