Public Events Schedule
BOXWOOD CANADA 2013
Public events are presented by Boxwood in cooperation with the St. John's Arts Alliance & Zion Lutheran Church. Tickets and reservations for all events commence on July 1, 2013. Tickets may be purchased in three ways:
- at Shop On The Corner in Lunenburg; 263 Lincoln St., Lunenburg, 902-634-3434
- on-line via PayPal on this page
- at the door for each event starting roughly 45 minutes before starting time
Concert tickets (July 21, 24 and 27) are $20 each suggested donation, $5 for students (door only).
Ceili dance tickets (July 26) are $15 suggested donation.
Sunday July 21, 2013; 7:30 PM concert
Tempest Baroque Ensemble led by David GREENBERG with guest soloists:
Shelley PHILLIPS - baroque oboe, Vincent LAUZER - recorder, and Mark EDWARDS - organ &harpsichord.

Tempest is Maritime Canada's premeire early music ensemble, led by the internationally acclaimed violinist David Greenberg. They'll present a concert that features their own distinct repertoire and style including works by J.S. Bach, Boismortier, and Playford dances featuring renowned guest artists Shelley PHILLIPS, Vincent LAUZER, and Mark EDWARDS and other Boxwood artists.

Bring your dancing shoes for a rollicking ceili dance in one of Canada’s most historic venues with some gorgeous dancing from Marlys NORMAN and sizzling percussive dancing in the breaks from Matthew OLWELL . An exhilarating ceili dance with Boxwood’s monster staff on the bandstand (visit our artists page). Undoubtably one of the best dances in Nova Scotia all year!
